Dreamscape was a movie I enjoyed but maybe not one of the best.

It and Red Dawn were the first two movies to get the new PG-13 rating.

Moving Violations (1985).

That was an underrated movie. Full of quips and one-liners.

I lost it when the hypochondriac was talking to Doc the car mechanic b/c she thinks he's a doctor.


Joan: I would love to talk to you about this problem I’m having.
Doc (Fred Willard): that’s what I’m here for. What seems to be the problem?
Joan: No matter what I do I just can’t get going in the morning.
Doc: that could be your valves…have you had your pump checked lately?
Joan: by a specialist.
Doc: I should probably take another look at it b/c if that goes, you die right on the spot.
Joan: Oh God, I know <worried>
…
Doc: What about your rear end?
Joan: What about it?
Doc: Does your rear end make noise?
Joan: That’s a bit personal, isn’t it…
Doc: I’ll tell you what, I am up to here in my work. But what I will do…I’ll lube it up. I’ll get inside there and root around and find out what the problem is. I have the best tool in town. Trust me, I’ll do a thorough job.

Joan: ...uh-huh…
Doc: in the meanwhile here’s what I’d like you to do. , about an hour before you get going in the morning, drain out your water, flush it out of there completely, take in a lot of oil, then grease up that back end, get out on the highway and go as fast you can for 9 or 10 miles.

Joan: Really? No-one's ever said this to me before.
Doc: as I say, I’m a professional. I can lick any rear end problem you can bring me.
