Sopranos getting beat by Chernobyl is a travesty.

The bracket is really uneven as well.

But definitely some interesting match ups.

I feel like this is going to come down to Game of Thrones vs The Wire.

More than likely Band Of Brother vs the Wire is quite the elite 8 showdown compared to the other brackets though.

The Wire hasnt faced any stiff competition yet but i think they are getting 88% of the vote every round

Hard to see any show taking Game of Thrones until the finals.

Band of Brothers is having a tough fight with Barry which is kinda sad. Barry is a good show but BoB is an all time great war series.

No Hitchhiker? No 1st and 10? No Fraggle Rock? I get that these shows are so old that they wouldnt stand a chance with the clear recency bias demonstrated in the results, but these were shows that formed HBO in the early years.

And while I dont have MUCH of a problem with the results as a whole so far (they are tending towards recency bias, but that is understandable), some of the matchups are disappointing. Band of Brothers vs Pacific in round 1? That’s brutal.

That was clear. But still unfortunate to have some obscure af shows moving on while truly solid shows got eliminated 1st round.

Barry is actually really good imo and it’s a pretty hyped show these days so not super shocked it’s putting up a fight. But yeah, Band of Brothers is amazing.

I would have given it to GOT hands down but the last season was so astronomically terrible, forget it. It's like the writers were all on a meth high when they wrote it.

The biggest problem with the last season was it was rushed. It was disappointing but I think it gets a little unfairly maligned as well.
