Yes, fsu has a great defense. Oregon has a pretty great defense too. Sports statistics are not an exact science and it is kind of ignorant just to go off stats that have been achieved in different ways.

Right now I would give a slight edge to the defense of fsu, but it isn't as big of a difference as you would like to think.

After watching Stanford "dismantle" one of the best offenses in football yesterday, hard to believe their team is NOT a top10 defense in the country.

FSU starters have allowed an average of 8.7 pts per game this season. They did not play the 2nd half of Maryland, NC State, Bethune-Cookman, and Nevada. A total of 61 pts on 7 games. SO FSU has not played their 1st string the entire game in most games either. So what does that mean?

Nothing really. FSU is a great D and Oregon is a great D. I would give FSU the edge due to 3rd down%, Pass Efficiency, and REd Zone D. Pretty even though.
