If you're drinking a lot of it, assuming you are doing it to get drunk, then why drink a nasty beer? Budweiser tastes like skunk spray...

I can get a 30 pack of Budweiser for less than 20 bucks, and I like Budweiser. Plus it takes a lot of beer to get me drunk, which is why most of the time, I just drink liquor, Cuervo, Canadian Club or white liquor.

Budweiser has brought us clydesdales, a rivalry between frogs and lizards, catchy This Bud's For You songs and the first championship for Kevin Harvick.

I'll stick with the undisputed king.

Budweiser is no longer an American brewery. It is owned by Belgian-Brazilian InBev.

Nothing wrong with a pack of Buds on occasion, but also nothing wrong with something that tastes a little bolder

It was a sad day when wine snobs ventured over to the beer market.

I'll take a Budweiser, a C.C. waterback and a fifth of Cuervo.
So if I put a McDonald's cheeseburger and a medium rare ribeye steak in front of you, you'd choose the burger and bitch about anyone preferring the steak?

In other words, why do you care that people like beer that you don't? Drink all the Bud you want. It's not like anyone's limiting your supply.

To be technically accurate, Anheuser Busch has 13 American breweries, it is owned by InBev, but ownership does not mean that it isn't American made. Same can be said for SABMiller(6) and MolsonCoors(2).

I looked up NC, well since it is my home state and I will say "Event Horizon" is well thought of here. But, really this list is just one persons opinion, and my guess, he was into Stouts. Get a hop heads opinion and "Hop Drop and Roll" might have been NC's best or a Sour fans opinion might have said Natty Green's "American Sour" or Wicked Weeds "Black Angel"... Go by Volume maybe Highland Brewing's Gaelic Ale, or now that Sierra Nevada is up and running S/N's Pale Ale might be volume the most produced beer in NC. >shrugs<

My personal favorite NC beer is Highland's Cold Mountain.

Anheuser Busch may have breweries in this country but it is owned by a foreign company.

I said that. Originally, you said it was not an American brewery, that is wrong, they have 13 American breweries, those breweries are owned and operated by a foreign company, but that does not mean that the breweries are not operated by an American workforce. The men and women that work at those breweries have no control over who owns them and you aredoing those folks a disservice to say that the breweries are not American.

Wherd...the whole "buy American" "American owned" etc. dealie is pointless anymore. So many companies are multi-national.

Again, I won't knock anybody that exclusively drinks A-B products, but they're just one option out of many. I used to LOVE Michelobs but I can hardly find them where I live now. It's like they've completely killed off what was one of their best brands. Still drink a fair amount of Natty Light.

LOL: I'm watching a Bud commercial right now that says "Let them drink their Pumpkin Peach ale..." Sure thing, Budweiser!

Terrapin is good beer, but I prefer Terrapin Golden. I'm not a stout drinker.

And Wild Heaven Invocation of Avondale Estates, GA is great stuff!

I usually like brown ales and British-style porters more than Stouts. But some days you just need a light, refreshing lager that you can pound about 4 of without any ill effects.

Especially when youse barbecuin. I can't see myself quaffin a 27% barleywine with my ribs.

I got hooked on Kilkinneys ... and Killean Red back in the day.

Most of those were stouts and IPAS I am not a fan of either if I had to pick one from Missouri I would go O'FALLON gold or Boulevard. I like wheat beers personally.

Labatt's Blue = my hockey drinkin beer. :suds:

Yeah yeah, I know ... Canadian pond water, but I likes it.

It's no worst than Bud or Miller light which is what a lot of people in America drink watching sporting events.

I've had more fun the past few years by pouring a Killian's into one cup and a Coors Light into another and having the drinker tell me which was which. Most people cant.
