Yeah if they did the Collins deal I wouldn’t hate it either. I like his game and he would be great next to Embiid.

I would love for Morey to get on the phone with Nets and float Tobias Harris for Harden haha. Then send Ben to Atlanta. That pairing for me fucks Atlanta. If Simmons is gonna become anything, he can’t be with a ball dominant player like Trae Young. He would be what Thybulle is for us right now, an elite defensive wing that has zero role on offense.

I’m a proponent of the motivated Ben Simmons theory. Up until that Ramona Shelbourne story and the Shaq DM convo, I thought that getting cucked like this would teach him that lesson to humble himself. Still think that can happen.

I think he could become the guy who learns to feed off of that environment but that would mean he became that guy in about 25-40 games. That’s too much too soon for a player who has shown he cowers in those moments.

Also, i checked Sixers championship odds minutes after Harden news broke and it was Sixers +1800 and now it’s +1300.

He didn't try at LSU.
He got hurt in his 'rookie' year.
He's put up good numbers since, but apparently doesn't like playing in the shadow of a superstar.

He won’t be motivated to get a jumpshot. Maybe motivated to beat Philly and win…idk probably but he still refuses to shoot. Great fit in BKN though

he doesn't necessarily even need a jump shot. He just need to play more aggressive
