Triple-A RHP Vic Black will join the Mets tomorrow as the 26th player on the roster for Sunday’s doubleheader against the D-Backs.
He must return to Triple-A after the game, unless the Mets intend to keep him, at which point another player will need to be removed from the roster.

Friday officially never happened.
After playing 3½ innings at Citi Field, then sitting through a 132-minute rain delay, the Mets’ series opener against the Arizona D-backs was washed away. The statistics, including Bartolo Colon serving up a two-run homer to Aaron Hill that had given the D-backs a 2-0 lead, will not count.

Jerry Seinfeld opines on being a fan as opposed to being an owner....

• Mets fan Jerry Seinfeld tells Scott Raab in Esquire he would have no interest in owning the ballclub. “Never even for a second. It would be an endless series of headaches morning till night,” Seinfeld said. “The peak of being a fan is a hotdog and a beer and a seat at the game. There’s nothing above that. Nothing above it.” Read more in the Star-Ledger.

Here we go again.......Yikes.

Wheeler is on the verge of becoming a borderline head case.....imho.
He's his own worse enemy....with the BB's, and then forgets how to pitch out of trouble...

2-0 snakes after 2

Smh ...an E-6 by Flores coupled by a 2 out hit batter by Wheeler...then of course it's followed by an rbi single by Prado to make it 3-0.....and the mets hitters are still snoozing.

Getting more + more unwatchable. Maybe the rain that's been falling today will increase.....lol

Ughhh...Mets having to crawl back little by little against this AZ team is a fucking joke....

Grandy had an rbi GR double in the 3rd...and Wright smacked a 2 out solo HR in the 5th...

Mets strand 2 in the 7th, after EY worked a 1 out PH walk, and stole 2nd...then Lagares walked....but Murphy hits into an untimely DP.....

This offensive anemic offense is seriously anemic and very offensive.
