Kinda surprisingly he is starting with the AquaSox instead of in Tacoma. Still, a great sign. I expected Mitch to be back before him.

Kinda surprisingly he is starting with the AquaSox instead of in Tacoma. Still, a great sign. I expected Mitch to be back before him.

For better or worse I read that Mitch is going to take his rehab slowly. I say "for better" because he has dealt with so many injuries in his career, he knows what it takes to be back at 100%.

It seems as if he will likely be back by the end of the month and I'd expect Kyle Lewis back by after the All-Star break.

After we traded for Carlos Santana I was worried that Ty France was done for the year, but it looks like he could be back sooner rather than later.

He is only under a 1 year - $700k contract.

The Ms will have to pony up a new deal after this year. I'm not clear on what they can give him under MLB rules but I'm sure it will be the max.

I do see that he can get an extra year of accured experience if he wins RotY, and that seems like a given at the moment.

Yes he is ... he is smashing the ball lately. He is going to have to be very disciplined at the plate, as they are going to pitch around him if he stays this hot.

He needs as many plate appearances as possible to help the club and should remain at lead off until the squad gets alot of good hitters back in the line up.

Crawford is the perfect hitter to protect him in the #2 hole: lefty - spray hitter - fairly decent contact % and potential for double steals if the both get on to start an inning.

I had no clue the Ms played yesterday. I was not around TVs all day and saw the results when i got home around 11pm. Was a nice 8-2 surprise. SD is no slouch team.
