A's choking away leads late in games

This new trend of theirs is getting a bit tiresome! I thought our slump was finally over but now....they're giving up their leads late in games. Meanwhile Texas continues to do the opposite....winning their games in the later innings against their opponents. This is the first time all season I'm getting seriously worried. I must confess....my faith in the A's is starting to waiver.

The back of the pen has been a bit shaky at times though we need Cook, Doolittle and Grant dialed in if we are going to make a deep playoff run. This past week has been a good start.

Looks like we're playing against Detroit in ALDS. Hopefully we hold up for home field advantage. Got my playoff tix!!!!

Season isn't over yet. We are only 1.5 GB of Boston for the #1 seed in the playoffs. I'm hoping we can overtake them this week.
