Even with a completely decimated club, the Rangers are still keeping from falling too far behind in the WC race.

The A's are just phenomenal. Another fun game to watch today as I was doing some spring cleaning.

The Angels are on fire lately, and will be downright scary when Hamilton gets back. I'm really wondering where they're going to go for the pitching they need, and what they'll give up for it.

Watching the Cards try to come back over the Braves right now.

And watching the Yanks/Pirates game right now. Great games for those who have extra innings or mlbtv.

Braves/Brewers game is close tonight. NL, yeah, but still a good game.

Just waiting for the Tigers to explode on the Indians in the last 1/3 of the game going on now.

The Angels start their first of 3 against the (AAA)stros tonight, then move on to a 3 game set against the Royals before coming to Seattle next week. This could be their opportunity to pick up some ground on those damn A's.

The American League is pretty interesting/mediocre. Pretty much you have Detroit and Oakland separating themselves and the rest of the league is hovering around .500. The Angels are starting to play better for sure but we will see if it lasts. The rest of the Central and East look extremely average.

Yeah, I'm questionable about the Angels, too.

However, Trout is legitimately slumping badly right now. He'll wake up soon enough. Pujols is healthy, and I doubt he's going anywhere but up (already with 12 homers despite a low-ish BA), and Hamilton was scorching the ball before he went on the DL...and he's back in possibly 2 weeks.

If their pitching can just not get too much worse, they could stay there in the WC race or maybe even catch up to the A's. They don't have much to deal for better pitching right now, though. We'll see.

The Royals are on the verge of becoming a good team.

I think they have the potential. Looks like finally found a third starter with Garrett Richards. That kid has been deadly so far this year. The lineup will be dangerous if Hamilton comes back and produces. Im sure Trout turns it around soon.

Weaver said Richards has the best stuff on the staff and once he learns to control it he will be a stud. I believe it after watching him pitch a few times on TV.

Looks like Prince Fielder is headed for season ending surgery. I expect the Rangers to be involved in the Kendrys Morales discussions if he is still unsigned June 8th.
