Thad Moffitt started 2nd and is up towards the front. 40 years ago, his uncle, Kyle Petty won this race.

The Top 5 are pulling away though Moffitt in 5th is gonna have to pit due to his window net collapsing.

This race is now halfway done and official. The sky is overcast so it could be a factor.

Eric Caudell's car is a mess and that brings out the caution. He got turned by someone behind while looking to drop down to pit lane.
