UCF fell hard. When’s the last time the defending national champion didn’t start in the top 10, or even 20?

Also, when was the last time a National Championship team lost their head coach to another school, rather than retirement or show cause?

Nebraska--the only one of the 8 'Blue Bloods' not in the preseason top-25. Hopefully, that changes.

Hopefully the rest of them drop out? I assume that's what you meant

That's what I'm worried about. Last year, they struggled against practically everyone. This year's schedule is much tougher. I can see 9-2 to 7-4 but I'm thinking more towards the 9-2, 8-3 range. In my opinion, it all depends on if they can get some momentum going in the beginning of the season and keep it going through Wisconsin and Michigan State.

If Michigan goes through that schedule (five of the top 12 teams), and only loses 2 games...and neither of those losse are blowouts...they should be a top ten team by the end of the season.

I think they should be 10-2...but that depends on the Notre Dame game. A new QB, even if he is a 5* transfer, is still going to have some trouble with highly skilled team like ND in game #1. If they beat ND, I think they should go 10-2, with a chance, to win 11 or 12 games...if some calls go their way and a little bit of luck. At least that is my hope.

Seriously, what a douchebag trying to pretend like they deserved the national champions title as he was packing for Nebraska.

Jokes on him, getting all his shit stolen, what an idiot.

UCF gave him a huge bonus for it though.

I would have been like - "fuck yeah, national champs!" too.

Still not as bad as Jimbo/A&M

It's like they didn't even watch the Alabama vs FSU game last year.

But I'll give A&M this much - they actually do what Texas is always saying they'll do - they spent a shit ton of money.

People that think UCF won any kind of national championship last year are just like the Hillary supporters that think she "won" because she lead the popular vote.

That is a solid analogy.
