Chip Kelly, RG3 and Kaperenick , not NFL flavors. Looked good with the whipped cream and cherry but once got to the ice cream, watered down and not cream

Chip Kelly will be fine if he can find the right QB.
That is the same problem for every NFL team.....without a QB, most teams suck.

It really has nothing to do with his system being diffrent.
He doesnt run anything gimmicky in the slightest.
He runs very basic plays at a high speed.

That is no diffrent than what New England does.....the Pats might even play faster.
the diffrence is that NE has Brady while Philly has had Vick, Foles, and Bradford.

Bradford was okay. The team was not horrible with him. It was just so-so.
Kelly needs to find the guy.

I did not mind in the slightest gambling on Bradford for a low risk 1 year salary cap friendly long shot.
My only issue is that he stuck with Sanchez. I wish they had went with a rookie backup to develop.

His high rate of speed is his gimmick, and it's what's hurting his defense. Sure, it's great when it works, but when you throw 3 incompletions in a row and punt after 3 plays and 45 seconds of real time, you're completely screwing over your defense. That's not going to work with NFL rosters, you don't have the depth to rotate guys in and out to keep your defense fresh.

New England doesn't run that super fast, hurry up offense anymore.

Patriots do and will - in the right circumstance. It is not going to work if you use it at the wrong times or when your offense can't deliver. Crap, our O-lineman can barely walk up to the line, why would you want them to run???

Good point. They'll use it if they've got a favorable matchup and they don't want the defense to sub, but yeah, they don't run it all the time like the Eagles try to do.

Half the leagues does it now.
The Hurry Up offense is not even that rare and certainly not a gimmick.

But, it doesnt matter..

IF the Eagles slowed things down, they would get shut out every game.
They cannot pass block very well. They cannot run block at all period.

Chip Kelly had a decent O-line his first season and Foles was semi-mobile.
Now, he has a shaky O-line and his QB is a statue back there.

The Eagles just are not going to be able to execute plays SLOW or FAST.
So, you might as well run them FAST and hope to catch a defense gettting tired or with wrong personnell.

If they went into a huddle, Bradford would get sacked 10 times a game.
Until they get either an elusive quarterback or an offensive line.... they have no choice but to go FAST.

No one runs hurry up at the pace the Eagles do, and certainly no one does it with the consistency the Eagles do.

Hmm, poor oline, statuesque qb, remind me again who's responsible for building the Eagles?

It could take the Eagles 10 plus YEARS to get over the Kelly years in that organization. Kelly litterally gave away a guy that had a 119 passer rating for a QB that is a bust. A Hall of Fame Running Back for a guy with two bad knees. Two Pro-Bowl WRs and people wonder why the Eagles are the new Browns.

The ONLY thing worse than not being able to draft a dent QB is trading one away for a BUST. The Eagles must have clown music playing at full blast in their intercom system.

Knee injuries? Isn't McCoy the one who missed time over knee injuries? McCoy got a monster deal (2nd biggest deal in the league now), is facing assault charges, and just had his second straight year of decline, an injury plagued season (knee, shoulder, and hamstring) and ran for 3 TD's.

They failed to pay big money to Foles, who had a 119 QB rating over 10 starts..... and a 75 QB rating over the last 19 starts and led arguably the WORST passing offense in the NFL last year. Bradford, the "bust" they chose over him was BY FAR the better QB this past season. Honestly while Foles and McCown were insanely good that year in limited action, neither has sold me that they are great QB's worth monster deals since. Neither has Bradford, but he isn't on the hook for piles of money this year.

Desean Jackson didn't look great this past year to me (2nd year of decline as well). His last year voids before the season, making his deal 12 mil a year (top 7 WR money in the NFL).

It hurt I agree losing Maclin in free agency. But that's free agency. He chose to go to KC. No idea if Philly was even on the board for him personally.

Too bad they can't play your Beloved Bills every week. Then we'd be awesome being they beat the Bills this year. McCoy is a HOF running back? The Eagles had a bad year but have been a top 10 team since 2000. The Bills haven't even made the playoffs in that time span.

Buffalo is a better example of being a Browns type team. Philly has a lot of rebuilding to do after Chips tenure... But a Bills fan claiming the Eagles are the Browns is hilarious.

And beat the Bills every single year over that span, just like last year.

You sure are talking a lot of stupid.
