I'm not overly crazy about the feel of the forearm on my new shotgun (seems a little slick) and with it being a 20 ga. I seem to be very limited as to what after market options I have so I'm thinking about stippling some select parts of it to help the grip and, imo, the look of it. I found a good vid on how to do it and it seems pretty easy, just wondering if anyone here has tried it and maybe has some useful tips or tricks?

I like the look of this guys work in particular...

Talon grips FTW but do not get the ones that are like sandpaper if it is your carry gun. The rubber ones are nice.

I have the sandpaper one for my carry gun and I had to sand down one side to get it to be comfortable.

That's pretty damn sweet. I actually decided to go ahead and try the stippling on my forearm on the Mossberg when I got home from work. I'm about 3/4 of the way done with, had to stop for a while, it gets tedious as ass and I'm not a very patient person. I laid out a fairly simple design on it but I think it looks pretty good for my first time and it feels much better grip wise. I'll post pics when I'm done so errbody can laugh at me.

Wasn't about the money, more about me just being bored and wanting to try it. It took me around an hour and a half start to finish I guess.

Turned out ok I think, hard to tell in my shitty pictures though. It feels much better.

My dad did it on a few of his guns. Looked easy enough.

It really wasn't bad at all. Once you figure out the proper pressure and how long to leave the soldering iron on to get what you're looking for you can kinda get in a rhythm and it goes pretty quickly.
