Angels willing to trade Trumbo/Bourjos

According to Buster Olney. They want major league pitching, seems like if we can get AJ to resign, making a move for Trumbo to play first would make sense for us.

I'm not keen on getting another sub .300 OBP guy with a lot of power. The Pirates need to get on base more, not hit more homeruns.

Yeah i love the power that Trumbo brings but the guy i'd like to see the pirates take a flyer on is Corey Hart. His defense at first was not bad and he has legit power. I am sure coming off knee surgery on both knees some teams will steer clear of him but if his health checks out i am all for making a run at him. He has a career .334 OBP and outside of 2009 he had hit for power and a decent average.

If they can get him at a low base with incentives i see it as low risk high reward. I see him wanting a 1 year deal to prove he's healthy.

They want young controllable pitchers, I'd just do the best we can in free agency unless they would take Locke for him.
