Last game of the season! I didn't win tickets to this game so I won't be there. I'm also posting this half asleep. Quick is in net tonight, doesn't look like Doughty will be in.

Well another "Fan Appreciation Night" where Ox doesn't win a thing. That makes 25 in a row. You'd think sooner or later the law of averages would let me win something. Not a big deal though. It's not why I go to the game. The Kings could have won the game and I wouldn't even have thought about it.

Nice gesture by the Kings to honor Selanne before the game. He's one of those rare players I just can't hate even though he's a Duck. It'll be interesting to see if he stays in SoCal or goes back to Finland.

Pretty pathetic effort from the Kings shooters in the shootout. No one of the four shooters got anything on their shots. I think Quick decided enough is enough and just let Smith-Pelly (pick a name kid) score so he could get into the locker room and get showered. In the end the Kings got another loser point and ended up with 100 points for the season. Good season. Not great but good. All they have to do is get their act together over the next few days and get ready to whip the Sharks. Thank goodness there aren't any shootouts in the playoffs.

Anderson got lucky with Williams shot. It hit the handle of his stick. I agree with the rest though, Kopi/Gaborik/Cater all were pretty terrible.
