I would rather play Detroit so that all the games would be in our time zone
and I could watch all of them without having to stay up late to see the final score
of the games that don't go to extra innings.

Nothing major against the A's, in fact I like that their uniforms are primarily my favorite color, green.
But they are a west coast team which presents some timing complications.

I'm glad the NYC teams are both out of contention anyway.

GO RED SOX!

So, to summarize: You wnat Detroit to win so you don't have to stay up late, but you still like the A's because they have green uniforms, and you are glad neither NY team made it to the playoffs.

I was going to give baseball reasons for the team I wanted to win, but now I'll just root for Oakland, so you have to stay up late next week...

Well, they announced the game times, and it doesn't matter where they will be played...

Game 1: Sat., Oct. 12 at Boston, 8:07 p.m. (Fox)
Game 2: Sun., Oct. 13 at Boston, 8:15 p.m. (Fox)
Game 3: Tue., Oct. 15 at Oakland/Detroit, 4:07 p.m. (Fox)
Game 4: Wed., Oct. 16 at Oakland/Detroit, 8:07 p.m. (Fox)
Game 5: Thu., Oct. 17 at Oakland/Detroit, 8:07 p.m. (Fox)
Game 6: Sat., Oct. 19 at Boston, 4:37 (will be 8:07 p.m. if NLCS is over) (Fox)
Game 7: Sun., Oct. 20 at Boston, 8:07 p.m. (Fox)

So, I guess we'll need to use less selfish reasons to pick who we want to win...

I would actually like to see Detroit win tonight. They have a crazy offence, but it is struggling right now. And, I think the Sox offence matches up better with the Tiger's power arms...
