Salo also limped off, but should be OK for tomorrow.

Edler, Alberts, Hamhuis, Ballard, Sweatt, Baumgartner ... we are running out of bodies.
Oberg or Connauton next?

good news is, they rest up a bit for the playoffs?

Nope.... Sauve.... seems he has passed Oberg and Connaughton on depth chart.... or is his NHL salary lower (injuries causing cap issues)?

if they sign Mark Flood ... does he have to go through waivers to get a call up? or does it all depend on his contract details

Do you have a link to Sauve getting called up? Rumors down here in Saint John (where he played in the Q) are saying the same thing. I just haven't seen anything official yet. If so, that is awesome for Yann. He had a tough start to his pro career by getting hit by a car during training camp, (crossing with the "DON'T WALK" sign on :L). He'll be the first former Saint John Sea Dog to play an NHL regular season game, not the guy most were expecting.

Here's a link julian

It’s come to the point where the call-up from the Manitoba Moose is Yann Sauve — who’s missed most of the season after being hit by a car in downtown Vancouver before training camp in September, suffering a concussion.

Sauve, who turns 21 this week, will join the Canucks in Minnesota on Tuesday and is slated to play his first NHL game. A first-year pro, he is a stay-at-home defenceman, which probably worked in his favour.

The Canucks couldn’t risk trying to bring up Ryan Parent, who’s got 106 career NHL games under his belt, because he’s subject to recall waivers and they’d likely lose him and be stuck with half of his $925,000 cap hit on their books this year and next.

Awesome. Thanks! Next question, anyone know of a site where one might be able to watch this game live?
