Post-ASB, the Giants have only 14 homers, and 13 of them are solo homers. They just cannot seem to hit, or hit homers, with runners on base.

I recall a couple years ago where they went like 27 homers in a row all being solo homers at one point.

Guys the outcome doesn't matter here. The season is over. .500 teams that can't score runs don't go to the playoffs. #weaklink didn't score any runs again, big surprise.

What matters far more is D Rod is the freaking truth! Lightning in a bottle. Will he get figured out? I really hope not. If not he's your Cueto replacement for next year.

Disappointing. The Astros are a good team. We..........

Are the definition of meh. .500 all the way. Great pitching crap hitting, 2011 lives. We were better then.

We are a .500 team. Period.

After a 98 loss season, that's a large improvement.

We have discovered some gems in the young guys:

DRod is a revelation

Suarez has been mostly solid

Moronta has been nails

Slater has been solid

Duggar in SSS looks good

Hanson has been a good contributor

Mac was great, until he got hurt.

I'm probably forgetting someone, but yeah, developing the young guys.

Longo has been disappointing, though he got hurt

Belt can't stay on the field

Cueto is hurt

Scrabble is hurt

Bum was out two months

Cutch has been lukewarm, but a good team guy

Panda contributed some big hits before getting hurt

So I can kvetch all I want, still, it has been much better than last year. Not as good as we'd hoped, but still not as bad as we'd feared. Where do they go from here?

Black. Hello?

Exactly, suddenly we have an infusion of youth that bodes well for next year if we can stay healthy. Need some right handed power, and one more legit starter and we should contend for a wild card. 17-18 game improvement this year, need 10 more.
