SD will deal him at the deadline if they don't extend him. They won't let him walk for nothing. My guess is he'll be a doyer.

MLBRumors seems to think he's worth less than that. The FA market moves to fast for me to know what a fair offer is.

CQ was discussed in the off season. He is a decent fielding OF (usually RF), though may not have a ton of range. His career fielding % is pretty good.

He does meet a Giant need: a right handed power hitter. The idea I guess was that Pill could be that guy, but he hasn't had enough consistent PT to be effective.

His career average projected to 162 games is 34 doubles, 33 HR, 102 RBI, .255 BA, .348 OBP, .499 SLG, .847 OPS, 56 walks, 101 K's

2012 salary is $7 million. I am not sure he is worth 3/$35. But we have a need. He is a Bay Area guy (Stanfurd).

If its less, great! He's by no means young, and he has durability issues, but I still think he'd be a great target this off season. I think a one two punch of him and Pablo with be pretty damn good! Even better when you have Melky and Posey in the same line up.

I have never parked near the litterbox for a game, so can not speak to that. I always go to either Qualcom or Fashion Valley and take the trolley. I will be going to Fashion Valley tomorrow myself to go to the game. Free parking at both locations.

Where are you coming from? If you are coming from OC, it might make more sense for you to catch the trolley in Old Town. If you are coming from Temecula or Bakersfield, then you want the Q or Fashion Valley.

Take the 5 and get off at old town/rosecranz/8. That should be your best bet.
