Just watched the game on YTTV. Some observations:

1. Manaea is just not very good. I suppose as a bulk innings guy he's ok, but I think his roster spot is going to be in peril if he continues these implosions.
2. The rookie doyer was good; would have liked to see a little more patience by the hitters although they weren't overly agressive.
3. Doval threw well, some bad luck on the blown save.
4. VR might be about done as a Giant.
5. Schmitt might need to be sent down to work on pitch selection...we shall see.
6. JJ was filthy; pitched through some mittfuckery.
7. Jackson is everything he was advertised to be. Absolutely nasty.

Legendary win...five in a row and Wood throwing tomorrow.

When I played I was always pitchers helper but I don't they use that position in the majors...
