5 Alternative NFL MVP Candidates

1. Allen Robinson
2. Eric Berry
3. Khalil Mack
4. Adrian Peterson
5. Jordy Nelson......:surprised:

Interesting choices for conversation sake but I would have to disagree with his 5th candidate Jordy Nelson. I understand his point but the "P" in "MVP" would probably be best defined as someone who PLAYED in NFL games THIS YEAR! :noidea:

I still say Luke Kuechly should be the Panther's MVP candidate over you know who.

Jordy Nelson - "Now, if we use the dictionary definition of “Most Valuable Player,” it does not necessarily mean the player who contributed the most to his team’s successes, but rather the player who has the greatest impact on the success or failure of his team. Jordy Nelson, who has not played a single game all season due to a torn ACL, fits this bill."

I can't believe this idiot is actually trying to make an argument that a player who missed the entire season should be considered for the MVP based on a "dictionary definition." :L

Is Christian Hoban a SportsHoopla poster?

Jordy is a very good WR, but they are overblowing his loss and impact on Packers offense. Packers had multiple injuries at WR and R. Rodgers and Adams did not develop as they should have for 2nd year players to help the offense.

Oh... and Lacy decided conditioning was not very important this year for a NFL running back, that did not help the offense either.

Kahlil Mack is the most deserving of this lot in my opinion.

If Von Miller isn't a MVP candidate then I would have him winning alternative or Kuechly

Well, they gave Manning the MVP when he missed the year in Indianapolis for his neck issue and they went 2-14. ;)

MVP usually goes to the QB.

What I meant if Miller isn't a candidate then he or Kuechly imo should win if they had an alternative MVP. Cam is going to win it in an landslide, won't even be close
