By the way, that water from Blake to the Dubs fan was totally on purpose. Kinda funny, but it would be even funnier if he missed the next game as a result.

your attitude about pantshatting is pretty schizophrenic between the Giants and Warriors, kind of odd

Ws are fatally flawed, tonight's break filled luckfest notwithstanding...

Not to get to off topic, but Pablo isn't worth 5 years $90 mil, or the 4 years $60 mil you were talking about. At this point he'll be luck to get a 3 years $21 mil deal from someone.

Back to the Dubs game.

Since you're off topic, I've got $100 that says he gets at least $60MM on his next contract. Should be a slam dunk for you, no?

They still have to finish this game off, until then, Flop City still hast he advantage, especially if the Ref's are going to call horrible calls like this all week long.

You mean like the foul on CP3 that wasn't called with 25 seconds left and the ball given to the Ws?

Oh, I see....

Nice game, Ws played really well on the road this year...now with game 1 in the bag they probably have a 50/50 shot to take the series.

Really too bad they don't have Bogut, but fun to watch these guys. Lot of heart.

not if they continue to give the ball away 2 dozen times a game.

Horrific ball security, mediocre defense.

But, better to be lucky than good I guess.

Something folks didn't factor in going into this series, Dubs have the experience, they went through DEN last year, and should have beat SAS if it weren't for injuries.

Seeing Cp3 choke, and Collison turn it over on 2 plays was priceless.

I still say its 60:40 in their favor, but I'm glad we took game 1

That means you're giving 3-2 odds?

I'll take the Floppers for 100, alec.

The media is already talking only about the uncalled foul on CP late where he knocked the ball out of bounds, and how the Clips got screwed (which they did)

:agree:

How about foul's 4 and 6 against AI#9?

He got all ball against Matt Barnes, and JR was moving on that "charge call", Flop City choked big time. They had a 12-1 lead to open the game, the game was on their home court, we are missing our starting 5, and yet we still won.

Sometimes, you have to just give credit to the team that played better. Call if luck if you have to, but give the team credit. Stop the hating.

I've referred to you as a self-loathing Warriors fan, but if you'd ever bet against them, you're no fan at all.

So you bail on the team in the first few minutes, and then come to make excuses for the Clips and piss on the victory. Your performance was almost as laughable as Griffin's today.

PS - Weren't you the one that said I was wrong when I said some team in the West was going to be on the outside looking in with 48 wins? If so, you owe me a hundred push-ups!

Fair enough, but the Ws turned the ball over 23 times, committed 27 fouls, allowed 40% from the arc. As Collins said at halftime re: foul #4 on AI -- you can't put yourself in that position with 3 fouls.

Also, going from up 10 with 5 minutes left to down 2 with 2 minutes left is a pretty good argument for "choking" as well.

Neither team played well; the Ws sucked less.

If by "bail on" you mean "become disgusted with shitty defensive play" then I plead no contest. If you did predict 48 wins wouldn't make it in, great call. I thought 47 would guarantee the playoffs. I was wrong. Can you admit the same when your homerism comes back to haunt?

Moreover, I've got $100 to your $150 that the Ws don't win the series. Ready to put up? Or would you rather run your cybermouth?

Thought the Dubs were gonnablow this one. Real good ball movement for 3 1/2 quarters then they went to the individual dribbling the ball around game and the result was almost disasterous.

Kudos to Jackson for wisely stashing JO on the bench in the 1st half. He took advantage of Griffin's foul trouble, and bought some minutes with Speights and Armstrong, and the W's didn't 't lose any ground on the scoreboard. JO came out fresh as a daisy in the second half and had a major impact on the game.

I'm not commenting on the Warriors' flaws, I'm noticing that when it comes to the Giants, anyone being negative you jump all over, but with the Warriors you fill up your diapers in the first quarter. :noidea:

Oooo, did I strike a nerve?

So you're not a Dubs fan. Right?

Now give me my 100 push-ups!

Agreed Dennis. Why would any REAL Warriors fan try and bet against them after we just pulled out
an upset win on the road. Why have you spent all year on the forum supporting the Warriors and now in the playoffs you decided to go against then just to try and prove a point.
It just sounds ridiculous to me.

We have a season of work to judge the Ws...the Giants are just getting started.
