What are we thinking? 3 outta 4? Sweep?

Reds need a sweep to get back up from the humiliating sweep by the Pirates. Wins and losses have the same value in April as they do in August.

I think it's fair to assume that a sweep is likely. You tend to want to settle for 2 of 4 and really hope for 3 of 4 ... but Latos ought to be able to win tonight. Day games Saturday and Sunday could lead to a tad more offense. I don't think the Flatfish can score very many runs.

If anyone noticed, I traded my Lakers badge for the Reds. My love of the Lakers is almost 100% tied to Magic and the Showtime era and what it boils down to is I'd rather the Reds win a regular old game than the Lakers win a playoff game.

Well, by beating Houston in the last game, they went to #7, meaning instead of a quick mercy killing at the hands of OKC, they're going to face the Spurs and probably win a game.
