No Jimmy or Rozier for round 1
No Allen in this series and Mitchell miss this game and probably game 5
Knicks will be without 2 starters and another rotation player

What Detroit does have is NBA titles in 1989 and 1990 and 2004, and NHL titles in the 90s and 00s, so not cursed

NBA kind of the same, no? Small market teams less likely to win but it happens

NFL is where market size has no bearing, thanks to the hard cap

They are Golden State when it comes to opponent injury luck....though I guess the Raptors got their own from GS.

No titles have 'asterisks' even 2020 and 2021. One team wins it all, and has to beat all the others to get there. Whatever the circumstances all the teams have to deal with them.

I know 2021 some teams had more rest and all but after 72 games and the playoffs the title winner is the title winner.

Yeah it became evident by Thanksgiving that this will be the Celtics team to do it. Now we have a nice artillery to diminish it when it happens. OMG though if they can find a way to Munson this shit

Only chance is if Garland and Mobley play ridiculous and Levert, Wade or Strus has one of those great games. I’ve seem Levert go for 40. I’ve seen Strus go for a triple double. Saw Wade go off on the C’s. Extremely unlikely.

And I’ll share a little bit of something to hang your hat on - Sixers 3 non Embiid games vs Celtics. The closest one and the one the Sixers should have won came with no Embiid Maxey or Tobias.
