Windhorst said Wade could play next game.
Many seem to be reporting this.......have to wonder what he can offer being out so long but has to be more than Morris and Niang, right?

Saying that I do think Niang could continue to get chances to see if his shot will finally come back......but will get a quick hook like he has been lately if not.

Locking the boy up

He did a loit of good but ainge wilted down the stretch in Boston

Cutting strus
Tristan Thompson
Passing on maxey and Jaden McDaniel
His constant overrating of smart (although Brad rectified this one)

It was a rough finish

Well that was a good, old-fashioned ass-kicking.

I thought Cleveland played harder... and the C's were listless, especially on the defensive end. Some relatively simple action with Mobley off the ball was cashing out over and over and over again. And while the Cavs were scrapping to fight off screens on defense, Boston was playing passive and giving up both open 3's and easy rim shots.

The Cav's got more offense than the banged-up Heat did... so if the Celtics don't play the game the right way there is more potential to get burned...

... and burned is what they got last night.

On to G3.
really pathetic shooting by boston.hopefully they bounce back in cleveland saturday.

One day fans will understand that these blowouts don't necessarily mean all that much in the playoffs as to what it means for future games.
Every game is its own story. Great teams have bad games in the playoffs all the time. And in times like these with so much parity, teams simply aren’t going to boat race the league like the 2017 Warriors

At this point for the Celtics it just has to be mental

It’s the NBA. In the playoffs all the teams are good and the Celtics aren’t massively better than the rest of the league.

Mobley is that exceedingly rare defensive player who can both guard the rim and guard wings on the perimeter at an elite level.

On the offensive end- they have really worked on his 3 pt shot-- they rarely unleash it in games but its coming-- he went from 26% to 37% this season on limited attempts.

Mobley is a step in his offensive game and a high step in his defensive game from being a true force and he is 22. Mr. Weak Ankles was 25 before he did anything. It is rare the player that is a super star at 22.

Hopefully this series is a long and good series------ but looking towards next year-- if Mobley his healthy, keeps focusing on his 3 and aggressiveness, the sky is the limit.
