First I had Boston in 5 but seeing that Cleveland didn't play them with their full starting 5 in any of the games this season, I am going with Celtics in 6

Mitchell is one of those guys that frequently take his game to another level in the playoffs. I think this series is actually competitive as they match up well with Boston on defense assuming Allen is available.

I would have Mobley on Tatum all series

Key for Cleveland in this series if they are serious about competing is for Garland and Mobley to show up on offense

totally agree on Garland and Mobley- playoffs are obviously a different animal but the Cavs actually played the CEltics tough and matchup decently well-

what is Porzingis' status? is anything definite?

my predictions are Celtics in 5 if the Cavs are just happy to be there

if it gets to game 6- i think the Cavs could win at home- so while I think most likely is Celtics in5 - i could see the Cavs pushing it if they can win 2 of the first 4.

As I said in Miami, you can't let these one dimensional catch and shoot guys go off. Don't send too much help to Tatum and Brown. Let them do their thing because if you don't let White, Pritchard, Horford, and Hauser kill you then you are likely in every game

1-3 week injury so got to think they will decide based on how the series is going. If Cavs steal a game in Boston then I can see him playing by game 4 but if Boston stay in control then I'll be surprised if he plays this series

Matchups are going to be interesting with no Zinger but that just means Horford slides into the starting role. Allen and Mobley need to be forces this series and Mobley will be against a smaller guy most of the time and he will have a tough challenge guarding Tatum which I hope is the plan. Garland needs to be a consistent #2 for Cleveland to compete in that series and they need their role players to shoot well. Can’t shoot under 30% from distance, that is brutal

I took Boston in 5 before the playoffs so I will stick with that…I mean Cavs in 7
hey...ya never know--- i also think Boston in 5 is most likely- but I think if the Cavs are serious and credible and can extend the series- they could win a game 6 at home- and then all the pressure is on boston in a game 7....

if Allen comes back and Porzingis is hurt Cavs might be able to take advantage of their size.

Cavs are on their track....for a young team.....lose in play-in....lose in first round....win first round......its not a quick progression but a lot of these guys are still young and they dealt with a ton of injuries this year.....

I am impressed with a team like the Twolves who seem to have flipped a switch- however, do we give them credit for sucking the last couple years and then all of a sudden turning it on? It would be incredibly impressive if they could upset Denver I will say that.

Cavs are fine---- if Mitchell stays---- ole weak ankles was like 26 before he really came on..... young teams do not often win a lot

How many of the 7 other playoff teams do you think the Cavs beat in a 7 game series? I would contend that Orlando is arguably the only team the Cavs could have beaten in the East. They had more home games and the Magic were one of the worst road teams in the league this year among teams that qualified for the playoffs.

Mitchell looked dynamite against a long, strong defensive team in Orlando...

... but he also seemed gimpy towards the end... I'd imagine he has to stay healthy for CLE to have a realistic chance. Cleveland has a big weakness when it comes having 3rd, 4th and beyond scoring options.

Boston gotta keep the Cavs off the offensive glass.

Report is 2-3 weeks. Same injury as Giannis I believe. So maybe he can come back next series or if this series goes to 5, 6 or 7 games possibly.
