You guys are going to love Amik Robertson.

Hated seeing we lost him to FA.

Does he have any special teams value, gunner maybe? Return specialist?

Top Guards remaining

  1. Kevin Zeitler (34 years old)
  2. Connor Williams (27)
  3. Dalton Risner (29)
  4. Greg Van Roten (34)
  5. Laken Tomlinson (32)
Williams tore his ACL mid-December 2023
He was the Dolphins starting Center for 26 games.
He was the Cowboys starting LG before signing with Miami.
He was a starting OT for CFB Texas Longhorns

Holmes should be really interested in Connor Williams.

If the price is right I would be OK. I think Risner makes some sense too. Didnt realize Zeitler was 34 already. That would be a short contract for sure.

I like it.

Yes, indeed and like you stated, Reader will be a great mentor to Brodric Martin as well as Alim too.

I'm interested in seeing how his contract breaks down. 9M guaranteed makes me think there's a legitimate low cost out after a year.

If Holmes can sign a mid to low tier OG and Safety, he'll have free agency about wrapped up.

I would've liked to have seen Holmes sign Danielle Hunter instead of Davenport.

Epenesa (one of Meebs choices) re-signs with Buffalo 2-years and 12M. He would've been redundant with Cominski and Paschal though, but I don't think anyone has seen the best of Epenesa just yet. I'd rather have seen Epenesa signed here and Cominski given the boot.

The extension to Holmes, Campbell and Spielman must've been more about a good pay raise than just the extra year added. They all deserve whatever they received.

Quite unusual and different to witness a competent front office and most of the coaches.

Good for them.

But didn’t Dan have three years remaining?

I would have liked 3 years as he just finished his year 29 season. I dont want to have to try to resign him. Maybe we can can do an extension before he hits the market.

Benito has not be resigned which I figured would mean we were signing DJ. Of course we might still bring Benito back.

Man, I really wanted Epenesa, I think he is due for a breakout year. It was not happening the moment we signed Davenport.

Correct.

I believe Holmes' original contract was for a total of 5 years. IDK why the difference but that's what I recall. I did read that they're both signed through 2027/

For 12M and 2-years that would've been great.

Comminsky is a try hard, high motor player but I'd rather have had a go of it with Epenesa.

I agree he's due to get better.
