Kiper has us take the OT from NW at 16 in his latest mock
Looks like a ball hawk.
Smoot loves him. Supposedly the best ball hawk in the draft.Looks like a ball hawk.
dean i didnt say i would pick wr or DT in that scenario, i am not a strictly BPA personso if Dt and WR are the highest rated on the board you would take him? Thats insane. Its BPA at a position of need*(oline,Cb, and TE).
wasnt smoot from MIss?Smoot loves him. Supposedly the best ball hawk in the draft.
i think what needs to happen is easy . RR is auditioning for his CAREER . he as to WIN and make the playoffs THIS year . so drafting a developmental guy is out .
what should be on his mind is how do we help sam howell ? does the 5th best OT do it or the 3rd best CB or the best TE?
his pick has to have value not pundit value but real value .
i would have a hard time drafting a slot CB at 16 , branch is that maybe because he aint getting safety play , to me forbes is that . if its me i get brents in round 2 and move fuller inside and go o/line depending on the guy .
in my opinion a trade back is on my mind
also rumor has it sweat and clowney are on the trade block
dean i dont give a damn about how RR 's board is set up if he is wrong , 2 of his 1st round picks wont be offered 5th yr options with only jahan in play for thatthats your opinion that Wright is the 5th best OT in the draft. You don't know how RR draft board is setup. If RR has Wright has his #2 or #3 Ot, then its value at 16.
Im sure they are talking to teams about trading back.
Miss St. Same school. Take that into account but Smoot is really sharp when it comes to.the draft.wasnt smoot from MIss?
