And if they are gone then I trade down , branch is a 2nd rounderJohnson, Spoon and gonzo will be gone. Porter should be there. Skoro should be gone but its possible he could fall. No way im taking a RB at 16. Forbes basically has the same grade as Porter now. Both are above Banks.
Right now, at 16, the olieman Im looking at is B. jones and Wright. The Cb's Porter and Forbes.
a trade down Harrison, Torrence, Banks, and Branch should be in play.

Ever heard of multitasking ? Try it. How many times did I hear jonathon Allen wouldn’t be there ? Yet he was and guess what a good player will drop . And I wouldn’t pass on a talent like Robinson just because he is a RB , if he is the BPA and our needs aren’t there I take himyour assuming we get a trade down partner. you cant go into the draft with that in mind. you have to be ready to pick at 16

I would go where value is at. I am not drafting the 5th best player at a position to fill a need and pass on a game changer .sure, you have to be ready for a trade offer, but you have to be ready to pick at 16. Of course, good players could drop im not disputing that. RB is not where I would go with the holes on this team.

Yes because now we are moving down and getting more picks and can draft a player at the right slot getting value for the pick .If Robinson is there at 16 and you get a trade down offer, do you take it?
And no trade down is possibleRobinson is a HUGE luxury pick but if he's there at 16 that would be really tempting for me, especially if all the good corners and tackles are gone.
Not gonna lie that would depend for me. I think this is Samuel's last year with us. I wouldn't be mad at Robinson/Robinson tandem with AG filling Samuel's role. And no trade down is possible
I see what you are saying and i won’t say it’s wrong but for me if I can build the o/line with a trade down and pick up a spears later I have to pull the trigger . I wouldn’t get mad either way because frankly new ownership may choose to blow it all up and start from scratchNot gonna lie that would depend for me. I think this is Samuel's last year with us. We aren't winning anything this year. Might be time to start collecting ballers.

But you said no trade was available. So in that case I go to the highest rated player on the board regardless of position

Not sure I would do it, but we've seen guys like Henry and Portis drag teams into the playoffs.im from the school of never take RB first round. Just like when Dallas took Zeke over Jalen Ramsey. Any decent RB would have succeeded with that oline. Ramsey was a stud defensive player. RB you can get production from in any round as long as you have a good oline.

My dream is Gonzalez is there. If not a good trade down, one of the other corners or OLine. I'd be tempted though.
