If 30, 8 and 6 is checking out then Lebron, KD, Kawhi are nothing special and average at best lol
30 don’t mean muzh when you are taking half the shots.

A guy that checks out come playoff time is trash and that is his track record. And his game is pure trash, not watchable.

You might be top 3 most biased posters here.

If there is a player you don’t like there is nothing they can do right. And nothing a player you do like can do wrong.

Harden has his warts to be sure. But you can’t see clearly on this.

All the Laker fans were cool with a 10-15 million price tag, not much more.....and like Turkey mentioned......if he outperforms it.....that's a tradeable asset.

You nailed Kuz's price tag, @trojanfan12.....

lol

Guess I did. Glad they got it out of the way. He won't be worrying about it and it should make him more tradeable if they decide to go that route. Especially if he plays more consistently.

Kuz probably disappointed

I doubt it. It's a significant raise over what he was making. Based on what he's accomplished so far, it's a fair deal and he'll be an FA again while still in his prime. If he keeps improving, he'll get the deal he's really looking for then.

No team that has him will ever win a title, don’t know how saying that makes be biased but whatever. He is trash and a lot of greats are rolling over in their graves at what he is being allowed to do to the game.

That can't be true. It makes zero sense to trade Siakam for Harden. Wtf are you gonna do with Lowry, Van Vleet and Harden? And you give up your young all star for a guy that's gonna leave in 2 years (no way he stays)? Someone made this up or they got confused on the details

My thoughts too. Making that trade for Kawhi was smart. He was a proven winner. Harden isn't.

This makes zero sense for Toronto.

I agree his game is pretty much unwatchable, but it' not trash. His scoring is hall of fame level, it's the way he goes about it that makes it unwatchable.

As for the playoffs, I agree again. But the problem, imo, isn't so much that he checks out as it is a combination of him being worn down from the burden he carries (which is on him) and facing good teams who now have a 7 game series to game plan to slow him down.

And if he does outperform it, the Lakers may not want to trade him.

He is trash and a lot of greats are rolling over in their graves at what he is being allowed to do to the game.

A lot of folks, myself included, said the same thing about MJ at one time.

Not that Harden is MJ, or even close. But the same things were said for some of the same reasons.

The difference was, MJ played defense and was able to adjust his game enough to include teammates and win titles.

We had come through the 80's with Magic and Bird emphasizing passing and making their teammates better. Then along comes this "solo act".

I think they would so they can add a 3rd guy to James and AD.
If he out performs his contract, it probably means that he's become the 3rd guy. In fact, I think that from a salary cap point of view, Kuz becoming that 3rd guy would probably be the best case scenario for the Lakers.

I don’t like Harden either.

But you are WAY too down in his ability.

I would bet against him winning a title also. But that is a pretty safe bet considering he is 31 and only has a couple prime years left.

But saying he can’t win a title is because he is trash severely discounts what he has accomplished. And that includes being a Chris Paul hamstring away from upsetting an all time great team and almost surely winning a title in 2018.

So there is that. But also, the man has won 4 playoff series in the past 3 years. Which is more than some stars get in their entire careers. More than AD had prior to joining the Lakers.

So your narrative is played out and false.

I mean obviously you are super biased towards Harden, KD and Russ bc they never could bring OKC a title but Harden was one team blunder away from bringing down the Supersuper team Warriors without having CP3. You can say he is grabge all you want but that is completely false, no way around it

Yeah. He is a good player. Not a player you can build a franchise around.

Also why those in here trying to claim Paul George isn’t a max player are delusional.

George significantly better/more valuable than Gobert.
Gobert has been a top 5ish player analytically for a few years now.

defending the rim is a super valuable skill.

he’s better Hibbert defensively, the guy who have bron the most issue over his career, and also a good offensive player
