I asked yesterday. What is their big picture? It just feels like a bunch of spare parts and dearon fox at this point. Kind of unacceptable for as many high picks as they've had.
They have 2 capable SG's, but idk if either of them are good enough all around to be the starter. Barnes has been solid but still paid more than he probably should be getting. The bigs situation is kinda messy, Holmes and later Len have shown flashes of being good for them if they stick around past this year, Giles can do some good things but the Kings didn't keep him so he's probably gone next season, and Bagley can't stay on the floor. Fox is in the Demarcus Cousins spot of being really good and not having a lot of help around him. If they had just drafted Luka, their backcourt could have gotten them to the playoffs this season.

The roster construction just has them destined for mediocre purgatory right now. I get it being a Pistons fan

Some teams just like to make their fans suffer, whether it's intentional or not.

Rockets small ball has a big weakness in the rebounding department, but if they hadn't missed so many threes, they would've won this game by double digits. Harden was great on D today. He stripped the ball several times.

You are right.

If I were a Laker fan, I would be rooting hard for anyone but Portland.

They look tough.

The way its looking, the Lakers are gonna end up with potentially the hardest path to the Finals

Portland in Round 1 (Spurs might sneak in and take it though)
Houston in Semis (currently in 6th, but I think they'll finish 4th or 5th)
Clippers in WCF

Really hoping Houston either stays at 6 or jumps up to 3rd since whoever wins that 3 vs 6 matchup will face the Clippers in the semis.

3rd-6th is a mess and I think Houston finishes 3rd.

Big game tomorrow with OKC/Denver. If OKC win that then 3-6 will all have 24 losses.

Utah may be the easiest out in round 1 if Portland gets in over Mem/SAS/NOP

As a rockets fan.. I need them to avoid the clippers for as long as they can. Rather face Utah in rd 1 then face the Lakers before the Clippers.
