The question now becomes, does a National championship defense translate into an NFL SB championship defense. We are certainly amassing as many of them as possible.

So back to back years we take 2 defensive Bama players in each draft. We got chemistry if they liked each other and actually played well together.

Well...if they were the best players in college, it should increase their likelihood of being the better players in the NFL.

Just going to throw it out there

NFL Draft & Combine Profile - TONY BROWN | NFL.com

Brown was a top-10 national football recruit out of Beaumont, Texas, who excelled on the track as much as on the gridiron. In fact, the 2013 Texas Class 4A 100-meter champion was also the state's Mr. Football that year. He won the 110-meter hurdles in the Junior Olympics and USA Junior Nationals, and participates on the Tide's track squad on relays and as a hurdler. Coaches got Brown on the field in 13 games as a true freshman in 2014, starting two and making 10 tackles. He was a reserve and special teams ace (eight coverage tackles) as a sophomore before earning more playing time in 2016 (32 tackles, 2.5 for loss, two interceptions). Brown played in all 14 games of his senior year, starting once and making 31 stops, an interception, and two pass breakups. He had his issues while at school, being sent home before the team's 2015 bowl game, and then suspended indefinitely by the NCAA for unspecified reasons (reported for failed drug tests). The suspension was limited to the first four games of the 2016 season on appeal.

Corner... still available.

Convince me on Apke. How is he a steal. He is my least favorite pick. I am not trying to be an ass...I truly want to know what I am missing.

Had my eye on Arden Tate as a late round pick. Dude is rather slow but he's a big fella. Good suggestion @Ritz!!

Watched every game Tate played at FSU. Not very fast, but catches almost everything that comes his way...a definite threat in the redzone, and he's a huge target...would be a nice pick imo.

You dont make a pick like this without talking to the guys you already have on roster when they will be in he same meeting room.

Allen was asked about Payne,

Allen and Payne were asked about Hamilton.

And all three will likely be asked about Brown.

I like this draft too. I was a little pissed we passed on Harrison but I understand why the OT was taken. Apke is probably a more true FS than Harrison so I am ok with the pick b/c we need a FS.

I agree and I’m a PSU fan. His combine numbers are the reason he was drafted in 5th and not UDFA in my opinion.

Except we didn’t. Just because we traded down and got a third doesn’t mean we didn’t give up a third for Alex.

Not surprising you would quarrel his point. It's really simple math gk.

Looks like the roster as of today, is better than it was at the end of last season.

I think the Skins will win more than your said 3 games.
