The big question now is, do we score a single point on the Broncos?

No Cordy Glenn is embarrassingly noticeable.

It's too bad we couldn't get a RG or RT with a Ragland, Darby, Williams, Watkins package.

Yeah they will give up some in garbage time ALA Bears last week. This problem will go on all season unless Matthews can show something no team is going to take our offense seriously so they will key on Shady all game.

But that means we cant tank if you actually get someone that could contribute.

We need to draft one with our picks

One of the Notre Dame linemen has to be a priority

Problem is our defense is playing so good that we may not have garbage time

Matthews is more of a slot receiver and Zay Jones is a number 2, good defenses can lock these guys down in man coverage and then stack the box against McCoy to shut us down

We need a number 1 threat

You would have thought a good GM would have known that before trading one away. Our Defense can only carry us so far and Denvers offense is pretty good. Eventually our D will wear out.... but what does it matter this a throw away year anyway. Also on a side note how bad is that trade with KC looking now. Especially after the Browns trade with the Texans.

Yes unfortunately we're not getting that good of a pick from them, if only we traded with the Texans instead.

Even with Watkins this wasn't going to be a playoff team anyone, and there's not a chance we would have the money to retain him after this year. I'm just glad we got something for him

good to see JPoyer rack up a league leading 11 tackles…ex-Beav and all.

He has been a pleasant surprise so far, Poyer was fantastic on Sunday against the Panthers

I think Miller is tradeable if you can find a team with a similar fit problem. Miller would be a starter again in a power blocking scheme. Maybe a guard swap?

Bills need a passing QB first IMO. If Peterman gets a shot later this year, the Bills will get more out of Matthews and Zay. Tyrod was 27th in passing yards / game last year, and that was with Watkins. After fighting for Tyrod all offseason, I've turned the corner on him. He's great eluding the rush and getting some key gains rushing, but the passing game will always suffer with him.

Texans are 1-1 and are no guarantee to be drafting early. Watson will steady that team offensively. Texans were 9-7 with Osweiler remember, and Watson is definitely an upgrade even as a green rookie.

If Zay Jones doesn't spin around awkwardly, and just stayed upfield towards the pylon, he would have caught it.

Gotta disagree there. He broke his route towards the pylon and looked for the ball. The ball was over the wrong (inside) shoulder and he was just able to get his fingertips on it after twisting around. If he continued his route, the ball falls untouched. I think the real error was Jones not looking for the ball as soon as he made his cut, which would've allowed him a split second more to find the ball and adjust. There's a good view of his hesitation here:

Video analysis: Was the final 4th down play Tyrod’s fault or Zay’s?

The ball was heading towards the pylon, Zay changed his angle. If he stayed towards the pylon, as he looked for the ball, it would have fallen in his pocket.

His first look at the ball was at the 13 yard line (he made his out-cut at the 14). If he keeps his angle directly towards the pylon, he's hit in stride. Instead, he angles towards the out of bounds/five yard line, which spins him around, because the ball was thrown beyond that and more inside, away from the outside cornerback.

Not trying to rag on the rookie. He almost made a tough play. And he was emotional afterwards. I like him. Just a technical mistake.

Tough situation there, he's a rookie and that's the first time he was in that situation. We really didn't deserve to win that game anyway

Its not just that The Texans pick was still higher in this past draft and even if the Texans make the playoff the Chiefs are a SB favorite so realistically the Texans pick this is still going to be a better pick.

So, how did you like the strong play of the ex-Bills on display last night? Watkins, Woods, Robey-Coleman, even Goodwin got some big plays. 276 yards combined between the WRs and 2 TDs (both Watkins'). Robey-Coleman with the early pick (and near TD) and a later fumble recovery.

We should have kept Robey-Coleman
