Fantasy wise? One of my potential ones yes. real football? Yeah I think there could be 3-4 "franchise" types..most of the Matt Stafford-ish type ceilings. I don't see any "next Aaron Rodgers" though
fantasy wise gotta be mahomes or watson

real life or fabtasy
Yeah that's the question..if Watson can actually play QB at the NFL level..making the throws, being able to command the pocket etc.., like say maybe at least as well as Tyrod Taylor, hopefully better, .his dual threat ability make him a potential fantasy gold mine. The others? Yeah even if they turn out out to be perfectly fine QB'so, they don't have anything that jumps out and says "fantasy stud"

Both I guess. Mahomes is risky but he's got huge upside but that's true in both fantasy and real life. Kizers definitely my favorite.

Mahomes reminds me of Manziel no poise always looking to take off running, never sets his feet, and sidearm throws. I could be wrong though if i was watching Russell Wilsons film i'd probably say the say thing.

were all forgetting about james conner, who was a beast, then got cancer, and just received a clean bil of health, if he tears up the combine, hes gonna climb

I like it, nice to see realistic, or at least reality based comparisons.

which leaves watson with the most upside , rea life and fantasy
Qb-wise,yes
But, if only talking about these particular comparisons, in this little microscope slide, Cook maybe being Charles or Edge would be the guy is bend over backwards for, with McAffrey a close second. Tiki and Portis won me a crap ton of games and a couple titles

I'd like to hear some explanation on the Watson/Alex Smith one. He can already throw better, much better runner..and I can't imagine he'd be scared to throw outside the numbers. Literally see no similarities between the two. What's your thoughts there?

I think he has limited upside. Smith is mobile too don't forget. Watson doesn't have the strongest arm either and isn't a great downfield thrower imo. All in all I just don't think he's a great qb and is best suited to being more of a game manager who can add things in the running game too.

I feel like the biggest things people like about Watson are things like "he's a winner" or "he's shown he's clutch" which does nothing for me.

True smith is mobile, but not to that extent. But you're right, the whole he's a winner thing, they do have that in common.
