7th, IR him and we save the roster spot.

I can't see him lasting to the 7th. Not sure (frankly skeptical) he's a first rounder without the injury, but probably a 3rd rounder at worst. How far does a pretty normal ACL tear drop him? A couple rounds?

Most analyst before his injury had him as a 2nd rounder...Usually injuries depending on the severity drop players 2-3 rounds so my guess is a 4th-5th round pick is needed to get his services.

I would really like to land this guy in the 5th round.

That's my feeling. Given the number of picks we have, I'd be fine with using a 5th on him if he has starting potential. As it stands now, our fifth pick would be our 8th pick of the draft (assuming a comp pick in the 3rd or 4th). Though I anticipate we'll package picks to move up at some point in the first three or four rounds.

I say 4th rd to 5th rd. I agree we can draft him and let him sit a year.
