Several good drivers went on winless streaks before. Wins isn't the only thing that makes you a good driver.

And points does make you a good driver because it means you're consistently producing quality finishes. Are you trying to tell me there's no difference between finishing in the top 10 consistently and finishing outside the top 25 consistently? You can't be this stupid

Top 10 finishes are a part of the points. A small part. Don't fuck with me kid.

I mostly watched basketball but from what I saw, it looked like it turned out to be a halfway decent race. Which is surprising because no matter how much they hype it, Daytona (and plate races in general) are typically shit. Well...shit unless you like clusterfucks that are called "racing".

It was a pretty good race after the rain. The cars were all over the place with the amount of grip they had. Guys kept charging to the front and trying to make a move for the lead. Jr's car was so strong though

What in gods name happened here? I didn't bother watching because it's usually as snoozefest but I'm seeing the replay with 20 to go and they're 3 wide with some good intensity. I don't post here much at all because I'm an open wheel guy (before they ran that circuit into the ground) but I like all motor sports. I wrote off this event years ago but this was some good racing.

I think it was a good race, but I also believe that without the threat of rain, it would have been a sleeper, where they all line up and ride single file, just turning laps. With no idea when the rain might end the race, they all wanted to be up front. I say we tell them it's going to rain at any moment, every week. Then we'd see some racing.

That's what Larry mac said last night as well as the threat of rain seems to give us better racing
