I spoke to an SEC official who also covers South Carolina HS football over lunch today. Man he had a lot of interesting stories haha.

2 things that deal with VT;

1) he absolutely raved about Mark Irick

2) They showed the danny coale catch to a room full of officials and asked for someone to give a good argument as to why the proper call was made: NO TAKERS.

I believe that everybody who saw that knows he/VT got robbed. There wasn't enough there to overturn the original call, and it was wrong to do so with the game on the line.
