2:00 Opening Day on a Monday?

I don't get why the game can't be at 8 like the other two. It probably has to do with a contract that I don't know about but regardless, it's stupid. Have the game on Sunday or at 8:00.

I think in the beginning of the year they like to mix in more afternoon games so the real baseball geeks who are excited about the season starting can watch 2 or 3 games a day. Also, even in Texas the weather is more likely better in the daytime than in the evening at the end of March.
I also work from home a lot and I'm a big fan of afternoon games too. Baseball is the ultimate background for multitasking. Slow moving so you can still get some work done, and when anything does happen they have time to replay it a couple times so you don't miss much.

Same here. Day games are the only ones I go to for a host of reasons. I get better seats, smaller crowds, better parking and less traffic after games.

Working from home must be the best. With all the shit I have to do in a day, the amount of time I have allotted to "research" seems to dwindle faster and faster.
