seems like you just posted that they have 33 so why would i?
That's good - almost as many as UF! So, go start a thread about one. Is there a cross country forum? That 1939 basketball team sounds interesting. Run along....toodaloo.

1996 wasn't that the year David Boston won the Florida Gators a national championship?

Good memory, but ifs-and-butts only make one helluva' party. I'd like to think Florida wouldn't have disturbed arguments made by @LSUoverUSC types about who can claim the NCG share.

The 1997 Rose Bowl was a postseason college football bowl game between the Arizona State Sun Devils of the Pacific-10 Conference and the Ohio State Buckeyes of the Big Ten Conference. The game was the 83rd edition of the annual Rose Bowl Game, held on New Year's Day in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The game resulted in a dramatic 20–17 victory for the Buckeyes when Joe Germaine led a last-minute touchdown drive. Joe Germaine was named the Rose Bowl Player Of The Game.[1] The loss remains infamous among Arizona State fans, as the loss cost them a chance at winning their only national championship. Had they won, they would've been the only undefeated team in the nation, and as a result, would've likely given the Devils at least a share of the national championship.

That dude had the biggest arms I've ever seen on a WR.

He seems...nice.

David Boston gets six months in jail, concussions cited at sentencing

What I remember most distinctly about that season is how well Steve Spurrier had trolled everybody before there was even a term for it. Guys like Lane Kiffin owe him a debt of gratitude.

 Neb had the same advantages of FSU then and Ohio State today - no conference competition and a lot of skeezy mgmt.
If you're referring to '95, 3 of our conference opponents were top 10 when we played them... and we fucking wrecked all 3. '97, 4 were top 25 to end the season.

With competition like that, you might as well be in the SEC.

Would have been sweeter if Oklahoma wasn't terrible during that era. I forget how bad they were for most of the '90s.

you took weird fan fiction about how you think the rest of the country cared longer than the length of that game who beat who and turned it in to a strange flex about NCAA championships where you are bragging about Oregon's 33 vs Florida's 37. none of which had anything to do with anything until you brought it up so you could tell me to run along. like its like you are your own straight man to your own bad jokes.
