A rivalry is a perception between the two teams ... you appear to be hurt because Michigan has another rival. Relax you one of our rivals to.

1. ohio state - A true hate rivalry. This predates football Toledo War - Wikipedia.

2. Notre Dame - A historic rivalry, two of the winningest programs in college football.

3. Michigan State - Our instate rival.

Michigan has a great opportunity to make the playoff this year because they could lose 2 games and still have more quality wins than anybody. They have the toughest schedule in the nation with games against Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan State and Wisconsin. If they go 3-2 against those teams and take care of business in the other games, they got a hell of a resume. I think Michigan, Clemson and Alabama have the best 3 defenses in FBS. If Patterson works out and the line improves we're talking about this being a special year for Michigan. They really need to beat Ohio State though. And they really need this win against the Irish.
