Undoubtedly we not only need to expand, but fuck it, lets make it 12.

This isn't college basketball where one or maybe 2 guys can carry a team to a title. This is 50+ needed players to play at the very highest of levels to win.

No, the SEC doesn't have 6 to 8 of the best teams in CFB. They are just like all the other conferences. They have 2 to 3 contenders, the rest are not. Just because one team every year seems to win it all doesn't mean the entire conference is world beaters as well. Take away last years Championship game between Bama and Georgia, the SEC was 5-7 in last years bowls (6-8 if you include the championship game but they played each other). So they gave 12 teams from the SEC a bowl game last year and only 5 of them could win. The SEC may have very tough teams at the top of the conference, but every team below 2 or 3 contenders is just like all the other conferences.

Find me ONCE when the SEC got 8 into the The Top 25 even, much less the Top 12. Name me how many times the SEC got 6 into the Top 25 in the last decade? If they did it more than twice, I'd be shocked.

My only sibling and her husband and both of their kids grew up Gopher fans.
