at the very very least- if the Merritt cant pitch well tomorrow- the Tribe has Tomlin and Kluber at home in Games 6 and 7 with an off day in between it ocming back to Cleveland for the bullpen. Cant ask for more than that. Lets hope it does not come to Kluber in a Game 7- but if it does- Kluber at home in Game 7 on full rest sounds pretty good to me.

He would be on 3 days again.

Kluber did pretty well (not great), but I'm not so sure Anderson/Merritt/whoever would have matched 5 IP/2 R. He kept them in the game. Shaw looks gassed and Sanchez simply pitched very well tonight.

Jays finally showed some signs of life, not exactly the breakout game we were looking for but I'll take it.

Estrada tomorrow should be a win, Cleveland is now stretched out but they are up 3-1 so not really sure it matters.

I figure Toronto wins tomorrow and then Happ blows it in Cleveland.

Tito showing why he might be the best mgr in baseball. Gibbons has plenty and Francona has nothing and Francona is winning hands down. The fact Sanchez pitched in game four and probably won't start again says it all. Bautista also needs to sit the fuck down and Martin should DH a game. Those two have been killing us. But of course Gibby would never do it, Francona would.

Martin DH'ing won't do shit - guy is, what, 2-for-28? Just put Navarro in already - can't be any worse.

The silver lining for the Jays is avoiding the sweep.

I love how every pre-game conversation regarding this series has been "if the Jays get to Cleveland's starter" or "the Jays should be able to get runs off this starter" or "will this Cleveland starter's finger fall off mid-game?" and despite the fact the Jays have completely blown it every time save last night (kinda) the convo around town all morning has been "Jays will win game 5 because Cleveland's starting a kid way out of his depth".

Cleveland will close it out tonight.

Yep, it's not over till they win the 4th game. I think the offense needs to finally wake up and take this one home for the Tribe. They need all the rest they can get BUT they have to finish this series out first, don't look ahead.
