They were certainly a top 25 team last year and we blew the doors off of them. Also, Harbaugh.
Michigan is a very good team, but if your hanging your hat on a Florida win, you have self esteem issues. They sucked. Florida Atlantic, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, ECU, Kentucky all gave them everything they wanted.

It's a bit odd that Alabama does not lead OSU after just winning another and OSU losing so much talent.

Not really when Bama has to play the #5, #7, #12, #14 #19 and #27 teams and Ohio State has to play #4 and #13 and that's about it.

Michigan also had injuries. Part of the game.

Yeah, but it was a miracle for Florida to even get the half a QB they had to begin with. Depth affects teams differently.

I'm pretty sure they beat you and that's more than enough.
"beat". It's more accurate to say Michigan let their win slip away with a stupid, 1 in a million, error.

But Alabama has done something similar every time it's won a title -- to the point where that SOS doesn't impact my prediction of their success at all.

Scoreboard bitch.

And Michigan St dominated you in the stats as well. Passed all over your asses and had twice as many first downs. You were lucky to even be in it at the end.

The odddmakers probably think its more likely Ohio State goes undefeated because of the schedule. Bama's only had one undefeated season in their title runs. Also did forget that OU was on OSU's sked.

Yeah, stats can be deceiving -- bitch? -- our extremely good punter, prior to that last play, forced them back within their own 15 multiple times. MSU drove down the field, got plenty of yards and then was stopped when the field shrunk. Michigan, on the other hand, worked with a short field all night because of a better defense and, to that point, better special teams play (IE, we had killer punt/kick returns). So when we did score, we amounted fewer first downs and fewer yards to do so (hence leading with all but 0:00 seconds on the clock).

Yeah MSU were real jerks about that last year.

Yeah, stupid jerks. God, they were so lucky last year. That team just should not have beat Michigan and OSU and probably could have had a few more losses easily. But that goes back to that old saying -- sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

Michigan had two sustained drives. And six 3 and outs. Michigan was basically better on special teams...until the final play.

Michigan State was stopped 4 times on 4th down in that game. Yet ann arbor's finest still couldn't put Sparty away. Add in the fact that meeeechegan was out gained 386 to 230, had more turnovers, had more penalties: 8 for 70 (MSU: 5 for 44) & lost the time of possession battle by 11 seconds Crazy Jimbo's Crew should be happy the game was even that close.
