What would it be?
The Masters for me.
The Masters for me.
A "Masters guy". I like it. But you'd take Bay Hill over the British Open?Man.. I'd take any really but i'd go with:
1a) Augusta
1b) US Open anywhere
1c) Bay Hill
haha
Nobody would pick the British?
The British Open would be number 3 on my list and the Old Course would be my number two to play. You probably know which course is number one for me.I know it's the oldest and grandest major, but the British just doesn't do it for me.
A good friend of mine who I am envious of has made the trek over the Atlantic and played the Old Course, Carnoustie and about 3 or 4 more historic tracks and he's also done the Bandon Dunes trip...he said from a golf perspective, it's no comparison...Bandon was far better. That said, to be playing on ground that Old Tom Morris and others played on 400 yrs ago was awe inspiring.
I'd go with the British, especially if it's at St. Andrews...is it always at St. Andrews?
I don't think i could even get out of one of the bunkers...so to win it, that would be the best.
Every 5th year.Rotates to about 6 or 8 courses but the Old Course gets it about every 4 years or so.
Yep. There is an aura about the Masters that the others don't have. Its almost like a religious experience going there. The Masters is and will always be the pinnacle of golf.
