Our league counts OPS, R, HR, RBI, and SB. My current keepers are Mike Trout, Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, and Mookie Betts (2B,OF).
Who should I take as my final keeper? H2H league.
2014 Stats
Starling Marte (OF): 73 runs, 13 homers, 56 RBI, 30 SB, .809 OPS
Corey Dickerson (OF): 73 runs, 24 homers, 76 RBI, 8 SB, .931 OPS
Chris Carter (1B,OF) : 68 runs, 37 homers, 88 RBI, 5 SB, .799 OPS
Adrian Beltre (3B): 79 runs, 19 homers, 77 RBI, 1 SB, .880 OPS
Chris Davis (1B,3B): 79 runs, 26 homers, 72 RBI, 2 SB, .704 OPS
Freddie Freeman (1B): 93 runs, 18 homers, 78 RBI, 3 SB, .847 OPS
Marte seems to be a popular breakout candidate this year. I do like Beltre and Freeman but neither one is a big need for my team with Rizzo and Bryant. Plus Beltre's age in a keeper makes me weary when looking at the next 2-3 years but he has big potential still to be the best among this group for at least this year. Davis is primed for a bounce back season, perhaps similar to his 2013 seasons. Marte and Dickerson both have good potential and are young yet. Chris Carter I like because it's an OPS league and he could lead the majors in home runs and his OPS is solid while in batting average leagues, he definitely can kill you.
So given the format and names available, who might you take?
