Here is what my gut is telling me. Murray will take the money and go to a team like Jacksonville or Oakland. He deserves it, great guy great player. We will go with Randle as our projected starter into the draft, and if AP is cut in April 15th when he is available for reinstatement (which I believe the NFLPA files a lawsuit to get him back by when FA begins). I believe AP is a Cowboy. If not then look for us to draft one. I don't see Murray back, over under I'd say 25% Murray is a Cowboy next year. Will miss him, but I'd rather have AP at a lower cost, or if rather have a prime time rookie at far less of a cost, if there was no cap then pay the man whatever he wants, but I'd rather spend his money to help the D.

If the Cowboys let Murray walk, I'd bet they make a play for Suh

I don't believe Murray will be back. I don't believe he wants to play with Romo and I think he accepts more money elsewhere. I also agree with Nets that look for us to pick up AP if he is cut or head into the draft with randle as our starter.

Why would he not want to play with Romo? Listening to him talk, he loves Romo

I guarantee you that Murray will have two huge backers in his corner- JG and Romo

I'm assuming Murray - if he goes elsewhere- will set the bar for Rbs pay. What kind of money do you think Ingram would be looking for? I have aLways heard JG loves him

I think he cares for Romo and loves playing with him, but agree with everything else in the comment. I just think a team like the jags will be willing to give Murray 10M per to go and take pressure off their franchise qb, or what about the Vikings? Would they want a guy like Murray if they cut AP? Even if they sign Murray at 10M per they'd still be saving money due to APs contract. Murray would go nice with Teddy B. I think 5-10 teams would be willing to pay Murray 10M per and we surely aren't one of them.

JG does love him, but Ingram has no heart or motivation unless he plays for a contract. Best two seasons for him, last year in college when he was playing for an NFL first contract, and his last year on his rookie deal, when he is playing for his second contract. No thank you on him. You will pay him and he will quit on you.

I'd say at this point that is give RBs the percentage as follows to be our staters next year.

Murray 20% or less
AP 25% or less only because he isn't a FA yet, if he was I'd go 50% or higher
Randle 50%
Rookie 25%
Other FA 20% or less

Best odds are that Randle is our starter, if AP is cut he will be our starter imo

Romo could prove that love by restructuring his deal. He's always been willing in the past, pretty stand-up guy really

If he was approached about it , I have no doubt he would. Romo is all about the Superbpwl. I just don't think JJ will do it. I just can't see us going into next season with Randle as the projected starter though. Maybe so

I think the Cowboys would have someone to pair with Randle, either an Ingram in FA or Gordon or Gurley in the draft. Would love AP, but I think the Vikings will keep him. Would love to have Murray back, but I don't think the Cowboys are gonna pay him. And I actually believe Jerry's not making the call on that, I think it's Stephen and McClay

If you not front 7 for Bama I probably wouldn't touch you. They have players in the secondary that make the transition every now and then, but wouldn't touch a O player for them no matter what they are cursed lol. Even with as much talent as Julio has, he can't stay on the field. Julio would be only Bama player id even consider to play for Dallas on the O in the current NFL, I think even their OL players flop lol....mark my words Amarii Cooper will be a flop!

I think AP is our starter next season just a gut feeling. I actually think that while it's possible to get a Suh or JPP it doesn't happen. I think AP is our big name this offseason.

Eddy Lacy is the real deal! Murray might be a little better, but Lacy could play on my team any day. I'm just saying...

I am not sold on him, not saying he isn't a good player; BUT Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL by far, and the only team that can go man on them with single high safety is the seahawks, meaning Lacy gets short boxed a lot as most teams play two safeties high. Not saying that Lacy isn't solid, just saying that playing with Rodgers makes him look a lot better than he really is imo.

I absolutely agree that Rodgers makes it easier for Lacy -- but couldn't the same thing be said for Romo making it easier for Murray? How about the pressure that Dez takes off Murray?

When I watch Lacy, I see a determined runner with nimble feet and excellent balance for a big back. He finishes runs, is solid in pass protection, and does a decent job taking care of the football. Lacy is in my top 8 at RB. JMHO

I have no interest with Ingram on this team. What about C.J. Spiller? I believe he's in the last year of his contract and the Bills would be willing to part with him fairly cheap. Go into the season with Spiller splitting caries with Randle or Williams or both. I don't believe Murray or AP is on this team next year. Unless they Franchise Murray

If AP were the Cowboys starter next season, and the Cowboys could add a couple of starters and a couple of contributors to the D through the draft(and get Lee back healthy), I think they'd be a Super Bowl contender. As great as Murray was this year, he's no AP. Peterson runs for 1600-1800 a year on a team that Brandon Weeden could have started for the last few years. If he were on the Cowboys, where Dez is always gonna have a safety playing over the top, and Witten will always demand the best coverage LB or Safety, and with this line, AP could rush for 2000 easily
