Couture is taking over the game... what a shot and then what a great battle to win along the boards and patience to find vlasic streaking.

The top dogs are MIA, the 4th line is giving up chance after chance and I dont think the sharks have a pavelski line. But man couture and clowe are carrying the team.

Should be a good 3rd...

Hard to believe the Sharks are only down 1. They probably should be down more with how badly they've been outplayed especially in the 2nd, but if they can somehow pull this out (or even get it to OT) I won't be complaining. Still this obviously isn't the way you want to have to win your games.

Big time - (I needed a quick abbreviation for the Couture line... I am writing documents, watching the game, and getting phone calls... lol).

The big lines are taking away some of the attention but has Marleau's name even been CALLED? I am tired of these guys phoning in their game. At a minimum could they just throw a big check?

Even if they don't come all the way back in this one, some credit to the team after falling into a 3-0 hole and not just phoning it in. Considering the team's uneven play and the opponents faced on this trip, I'll take a 3-2 record. Also, good to see Vlasic finally get his first goal of the season.

Couture is the best player on this team. Heatley, Thornton and Marleau are pathetic. If your not going to score at least hit someone or show some sign of life. How are you the Captain of this team and show such little passion out there? They need to split the first line up or play them 4th line minutes. Them not showing up consistently is just sad. Dont get me started on Wallin, maybe one of the worst hockey players I have ever watched.

what's most annoying to me is that it's not like he's wallin who is overpaid and everyone knows it cuz he just isnt very good...

Patty has the ability to be one of the best in the game when he feels like skating and trying hard, but he isnt good enough to float around the perimeter at half speed and still be effective. As such, when he's going, he's basically unstoppable, and when he's not, he's worse than useless.

I wish he did, too. McLellan should be tired by now of having to constantly talk to him about getting his game going. Maybe the message will finally sink in with the embarrassment of being a healthy scratch and get rid of some of his complacency in not showing up for stretches at a time.
