#3 Pick in my draft.

Thinking about taking Drew Brees.

Pretty sure AD will be the #1 pick.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

IMO there is no QB worth a 1st rounder this year unless this is a 2QB league. My top 3 are AP, Foster then Martin. QB is really deep and you could wait until the 4th-5th and still end up with a pretty good QB. BTW, Brees is my #1 ranked QB.........

Yeah, in a 10 teamer you can wait longer. I would be targeting Ryan, RGIII or Stafford. Need to look at ADP's (need more drafts for a larger scope) but I'm sure that's where those guys are falling right now.

Definitely be looking at grabbing one of the top RB's with the third pick; QB class very deep this year and WR pretty deep. I'm grabbing Doug Martin with the 3rd pick if I can

I'm waiting until 5th round to be grabbing a QB in a 10 team mock, Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Kapernick, Luck are all still available for the majority of times, some getting taken in the 4th round of others. I'm grabbing RB/RB as I don't feel that class is very deep, sometimes going RB/WR or TE depending on who's still around such as AJ Green or Jimmy Graham

In a 10-team league it's hard to see an advantage at QB. Even the tenth QB - say Wilson or Romo or Luck - isn't likely to be far behind Brees (projected about 50 points behind over the season at 4-pt passing TDs). But the quality at RB drops off fast and at pick 18 you're already at RBs projected 50 points less than the guys at pick 3.

I'm not a slave to projections, and in previous years I'd be happy to grab a QB in the first, but there's a logjam at the top this year.

Rodgers-15th overall
Brees -21st overall
Cam- -32nd overall
Brady -40th overall

IMO you should target Matt Ryan in the 4th round or RGIII in the 6th. Draft a shit load of RB's and WR's early and let those other guys draft QB's early. With that said if Brees was there for me at 3-3 it would be hard to pass on him.

In that draft if I went just by my rankings alone I would take Martin at #3, either Julio or SJax at #18 and Morris at #23..............

For 10-team leagues, fantasyfootballcalculator.com has Rodgers going around the end of the second, Brees early in the third, Peyton Manning in the fourth, and no other QBs until the fifth.

I would pass on martin: I had him last season and loved him but there were a couple of observations i made.
1. He had some absolute killer games, but they were against some really bad teams. They do not have the easiest schedule this season.
2. He may have had too many touches last season(368 touches), he may be due to some sophomore bust...

At 3 i think that is way too soon... i would love him on my team again, but there are many players i would rather have than him....

I'd be targeting Foster, then Martin...............I would wait till the 5th round and draft Brady or Ryan. I would load up on RB first since this is a flex league and play a RB at flex when possible. At #18 I would grab SJax or Forte if they are there; the only WR I would take in that spot is Marshall. At #23 I would take highest ranked RB regardless...................unless there was just some stupid value sitting there. You should check out the consensus rankings on MWHS; came together well and you can see where we all have our guys ranked.
