I agree about Perez, not to take ANYTHING away from Beltre....but Perez shook off some bad games and pitched great, that's a terrific sign from a Rook

As fun as this was... honestly the Halos are really bad. The D-back's still could give us a run for our money tomorrow but I think this series definable injected a life back into the clubhouse. Guess we are going to find out about Cruz by the end of the weak. Who knows, maybe we will get lucky and he won't even get a suspension... well at least I'm just trying to think positive.

having just finished Colon/Cruz domination circuit RIGHT before the suspensions come down, has any team in baseball come CLOSE to the Angels this year in being fucked over by steroid users? Seriously. The marquee names from Biogenesis have been a thorn in our side. We’re owed like four wins back. I don’t care that it’s not the difference between competing for the playoffs or not. It ruins my goddamn fucking enjoyment of what’s supposed to be a RELAXING EXPERIENCE to watch my team have to get bludgeoned by a bunch of amoral cheating cunts.

No doubt but you can only win the games on your schedule. They're bad but I think we all know Texas shouldn't be as bad as they had played the few weeks prior.

For sure, nothing like series like this to turn things back around. I think it had been like 30 some odd days since we had gained any ground on the A's... now, a couple a days later we gain two. We got a pretty easy schedule from here on out too and I think several more home games than most clubs since we played on the road a ton in the first half.

Jeff Passan has to be one of the biggest idiots. He graded the Rangers losers in the trade deadline arena because they did not get a big bat. There was none to be had and to trade prospects for mediocre talent would have been unwise. And we got the top pitcher available. We did the right thing.
