The dead bats is something that has been killing the Phils the past couple seasons and this season was starting to look like more of the same. This surge by Dom was soooo needed to get the offense going.

Yea PC. We have a talent in D. Brown and now it is time to rid the team of dead weight and there appears to be a lot of it. D. Brown needs help. Start with Howard. Ship his big contract out the door and bring in another D. Brown because the Phillies supposedly have more in the farm system. What the hell are they waiting for?

Yes, I am on the right page. I don't know what the Phillies will to do with all their injuries, off-season penny-pinching moves, and aging superstars. People seem to think Ruben will have a fire sale. But I don't think so. Perhaps he may move one or two pieces without upsetting the whole apple cart. I predicted 85 wins for the season. Looks a bit high for now.

I agree Joreen because D. Brown needs help. Here we are after a 5-game winning streak now working on a 5-game losing streak. This sucks and changes are needed to this aging franchise!

Not a bad outing for Hamels last night but he remains at just 2 wins on the season.

Yea that may be true PC but we are in a losing streak against teams that are below .500 and this is not good. We have a lot of aging and injured players and it is time to start bringing in young talent and jettisoning big contracts that are just mooching the club like Howard. I am not suggesting a fire sale but we need a fresh approach and may be Manuel's days should be numbered.
